The Heritage Open Days provide a rare opportunity for free access to significant buildings that are not normally open to the public or usually charge an entry fee.

A Double Date in 2018! This year, for the first time in the history of Heritage Open Days, the festival will take place across two weekends in September – the 6-9th and the 13-16th. Each year, the number of events hosted across the country increases, and we felt it was time to give our organisers additional flexibility in terms of dates and capacity.

This website covers the venues and events in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and, where applicable, copies information from the National Heritage Open Days website at heritageopendays.org.uk. The national website is well worth looking at to find places of interest to visit outside of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

We also include any late changes that cannot be included on the national site, a local map, and by a calendar showing which venues are open on each day.

This website is always changing as are the details of the venues that will be open so please keep checking back here for the latest information.
