We’re delighted there’s so many spaces and places opening up or running tours this year, and especially pleased that alongside some old favourites showing their support once again, there’s some joining in for the very first time.
There’s a tantalisingly broad range from across the centuries, with an arts centre, places of worship, schools, shops, some heritage walks, even an undertakers and a crematorium. Some are opening up each and every day, others running tours throughout the weekend, and some are just opening especially for you on just one of the days.
You can just pitch up to some, whenever you like, while others require pre-booking. That’s why we’ve produced a Guide you can browse, download here, or pick up from one of the venues or one of the Borough’s libraries, as well as from some other public buildings.
And it’s why it’s worth visiting our website regularly – to check the latest details of what’s happening where, how to pre-book if you need to, how you can get to and around the various venues, and how to make the most of your time experiencing the widest range of riches that our historic borough has to offer.
Let us know what you think.
